「Inflammation and Regeneration」は、日本炎症・再生医学会（JSIR）の公式ジャーナルです。本誌は、炎症および再生医療に関する基礎および臨床研究の幅広い科学的トピックを扱うオープンアクセスのフォーラムを提供しています。また、COVID-19やその他の新興感染症など、炎症反応に関わる感染症の研究も対象としています。炎症研究と再生医療は生命科学における密接に関連する研究分野であり、トランスレーショナルリサーチにおけるその重要性は急速に高まっています。この観点から、本誌ではこれらの分野を橋渡しする範囲を含む原稿の投稿を奨励しています。 本誌は、research article、note、rapid communication、case report、review、clinical drug evaluationなどのカテゴリーで論文を掲載します。論文はいつでも電子的に投稿可能です。「Inflammation and Regeneration」はオープンアクセスジャーナルとして発行されています。
Inflammation and Regeneration is the official journal of the Japanese Society of Inflammation and Regeneration (JSIR). This journal provides an open access forum which covers a wide range of scientific topics in the basic and clinical researches on inflammation and regenerative medicine. It also covers investigations of infectious diseases, including COVID-19 and other emerging infectious diseases, which involve the inflammatory responses. Inflammation research and regenerative medicine are tightly linked research areas in life sciences and their significance in translational research is rapidly increasing. From this aspect, this journal encourages the submission of manuscripts whose scope bridges these fields of research.
The journal publishes papers in the following categories: research article, note, rapid communication, case report, review and clinical drug evaluation.
Papers may be submitted electronically at any time． Inflammation and Regeneration publishes as an open access journal.

JSIR会員および依頼論文の著者は、編集上の受理後に支払われる論文掲載料（APC）の割引または免除を申請できます。
- 依頼論文の著者
依頼論文のAPCは学会が負担するため、著者はAPCを支払う必要はありません。依頼論文の著者は、編集上の受理後に学会によるAPCの負担を申請できます。
- 学会会員
2024年1月1日以降に非依頼論文を提出したJSIR会員の割引後のAPCは1, 905 USDです。著者は編集上の受理後にAPC割引を申請できます。APCは、原稿提出時ではなく、編集上の受理日を基準に決定されます。

Article-processing charges
The JSIR members and authors of commissioned articles publishing in Inflammation and Regeneration can request a discount or waiver on the journal’s article-processing charge (APC) that is payable upon editorial acceptance of the articles. The discount/waiver must be requested after editorial acceptance of the articles.
- Authors of commissioned articles
The APCs for commissioned articles are covered by the Society, so authors do NOT need to pay the APC. Authors of commissioned articles can request the APC coverage by the Society after editorial acceptance of the articles.
- Society members
The discounted APC is 1971.41 USD for the JSIR members (only if the first or corresponding author is a member (revised from May 2025)) who submit non-commissioned articles after 1 January 2025. Authors can request the APC discount after editorial acceptance of the articles. The Article Processing Charge (APC) will be determined based on the date of editorial acceptance of an article, instead of at submission of the manuscript.
